The time has come

Did you ever wonder if it could or would happen to you? You know what I am talking about. You are watching a talk show and depending on the comings and goings of you life you might have wondered once or twice (at least I have)-if someone secretly wrote to a talk show about you . In my little fantasy scenario I always imagine that someone has written a tear jearker letter that would end up with me receiving a windfall of cash and prizes. And then of course there are the other scenarios that could play out. Someone wants to reveal dirty secrets about you--Someone wants to tell you that they are not the gender you think they are--Someone wants to spew their dirty laundry.

Well while I was watching Oprah yesterday I was convinced that Dan wrote the tear jerker letter to Oprah about a scenario that plays out in our house everyday. Notice that above I used tear jerker in a good way. But as I watched the Oprah episode I knew that if there was a letter to be written that would get me on a talk show-this would be the topic. And eventually there would come a time where maybe just maybe Dan would feel that he had no choice but to shout out to a talk show for help. A tear jerking letter on his part. Help Me Please!!! I cant take it anymore!!! Anyway Oprah has answered Dan's fictitious letter and prayers and mine too for that matter. She is starting a 6 month series "Clean Up your Messy House". This is just what we need right now. Each month there is tasks that have to be done for that month. Then I guess the next month you do the next list. If you folow all the steps Viola-clean organized house. Easier said than done. Um I have to go I think the camera crew in front of my house.

Thanksgiving Part I

Here are some pictures from our Carroll Thanksgiving. As you can see I tried to change up my picture arranging and it didnt really work out. Anyway we enjoyed a delicious dinner with everyone except the Florida crew. It was so great to see Tommy -our nephew who is now a professional Fireman in El Paso Texas and Joshua another nephew who used to be part of the Florida crew but has defected to test out being part of the Buffalo crew. Donna made THEE BEST sweet potatoes ever with brown sugar and pecans. And as you can see Kamryn & Christian tested all the knobs on Grandmas drawers and cupboards to make sure they all opened and closed.

Kamryn & her Godfather Kevin. Pretty soon Kevin will be holding his own brand new baby!!!

Halloween 2008

Finally I am posting about our Halloween!! We had a great but too short night. Dan surprised us by getting out of work early so he could come with us for Trick or Treating in Rochester at Grandma & Grandpa's house.

Kamryn loved wearing this costume. She thought it was funny.

We thought Christian was so cute in his Lion costume, but them he started crawling and it was even cuter. Here is a short video:

No candy at Grandma & Grandpa's house. Instead we got new PJs. And its not every day that you get your first pair of Nike sneakers when you are out Trick or Treatin'. (Thanks G & G) We took the costumes off to eat dinner. Its hard work being a Lion & a Chicken. We had to refuel.

After this stop we went back to Buffalo and Trick or Treated at Grandma's house. It was pretty late so we didnt take any pictures there but we did visit Grandmas good friend and neighbor who put on a silly/funny witch hat that sent Kamryn's lip quivering , and scared the daylights out of her. We had a great, hurried Halloween. Hopefully next year Christian & Kamryn you will share your candy with MaMa & DaDa.
